〔 Andrew "Drew" Galloway (born 6 June 1985) is a Scottish professional wrestler, best known for his tenure with WWE under the ring name Drew McIntyre. He currently competes under the name Drew Galloway for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), and Evolve Wrestling. He is the current Scottish Heavyweight Champion. He is also as a former Intercontinental Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion, ICW World Heavyweight Champion, Evolve World Champion, DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate Champion as well as numerous other championships. He began training from the age of 15 in England, and commuted between there and Scotland to begin his career. Before long, he became a regular in British Championship Wrestling (BCW), using the gimmick "Thee" Drew Galloway and winning their Heavyweight Championship twice, along with the Heavyweight Championship of ICW. He also found success abroad in Irish Whip Wrestling, winning their top title. During this time, he completed an undergraduate degree in criminology. After touring the independent circuit around the British Isles for several years, Galloway signed with WWE and moved to the United States in 2007. Following a brief stint on the ''SmackDown'' brand, he spent two years in the developmental territories known as Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), winning the Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships later, before returning to ''SmackDown'' and quickly winning the Intercontinental Championship. In 2010, he held the WWE Tag Team Championship with Cody Rhodes. McIntyre then experienced a dramatic plunge down the card. In late 2012, he became a member of Heath Slater's 3MB faction before being released in June 2014. In the FWA Academy he was trained by the promotion's operator Mark Sloan along with Justin Richards and James Tighe.
